\u00a0<\/em>LUBBOCK, Texas \u2013 This holiday season, Abuelo\u2019s is spicing up gift giving with its annual holiday gift card promotion. The gift card promotion gives guests who purchase $50 of Abuelo\u2019s gift cards a gift of their own \u2013 a $10 Abuelo\u2019s bonus card to use in the New Year.<\/p>\n

During the holiday gift card promotion, which runs through December 31, 2016, guests can purchase gift cards at any Abuelo\u2019s location or online at www.abuelos.com<\/a>. For every $50 gift card purchase, guests will receive a $10 bonus card redeemable at any Abuelo\u2019s location from January 1 to March 31, 2017.<\/p>\n

“Our holiday gift card promotion is a very good way for guests to get gifts for everyone on their list, as well as a gift for themselves,\u201d said Robert Lin, president of Food Concepts International, Abuelo\u2019s parent company.\u00a0 “Abuelo\u2019s gift cards make a great gift for family members, friends, co-workers and clients. We want our guests to be able to share the flavor of Mexico, and enjoy a gift from us, too.”\u00a0Additionally, Abuelo\u2019s is bringing back a sweet holiday tradition with its special Capirotada dessert, a decadent Mexican bread pudding that will only be available November 22 through January 2, 2017. Abuelo\u2019s is offering Capirotada for a special price of just $4.99.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur Capirotada is a traditional Mexican dessert that is perfect for the holiday season,\u201d said Executive Chef Luis Sanchez. \u201cIt\u2019s a delicious treat everyone should enjoy at least once, so order it while you can!\u201d<\/p>\n

Abuelo\u2019s also welcomes a new entr\u00e9e during the holiday season. The new Pescado Mazatl\u00e1n is fire-grilled Barramundi filets with shrimp and sea scallops in a light lemon sauce, topped with a cool cucumber salsa. This delicious, new entr\u00e9e is available for a limited time in all restaurants during the holiday season only.<\/p>\n
